93 000 000 selfies are taken every day. We looked to slow down the habitual and unconscious taking and posting of selfies. By using an ‘iphone’ pinhole camera we slowed the entire process from exposure to developing,  questioning the need for selfie culture. The long exposure times captured the impatience of selfie-takers, removed the instant gratification of the selfie and shed a light on the façade we present on social media.
